To be completely honest, there are no words to describe Dr. Dog's show last night at Kung Fu Necktie. It was a rare gem to witness a band, who just announced two shows at the Electric Factory in March(which equals nearly 6,000 people over a two night span), play to 100 fans and friends in a small intimate bar. Let's just say, you had to be there to get it.

Their 21 song setlist consisted mainly of their classics with only two new songs mixed in. One of which, "The Warrior," will be on their upcoming record, Be The Void, and both(the other being "Control Yourself") will be on their new 7 inch that will be released as part of the Black Friday edition of Record Store Day. Both new songs were loud and in-your-face. Although, the entire show was like that.

To sum it all up, Dr. Dog's show last night was by far one of the raddest shows of the year. It'll be a hard one to top. Do yourself a favor and don't miss them when they play here next year.

Setlist: Fuck It / Easy Beat / Hang On / Control Yourself / Stranger / Mirror, Mirror / The Ark / I Only Wear Blue / The Way The Lazy Do / Shame Shame / Shadow People / The Beach / Livin’ a Dream / Worst Trip / The Rabbit, The Bat, and the Reindeer / Heart It Races (Architecture In Helsinki cover) / Oh No // Encore: Warrior Man / Fat Dog / Nobody Knows Who You Are / Jackie Wants A Black Eye
