You may have noticed that the big yarn bomb that popped up in Rittenhouse square last June has finally been cut down. (I say finally only because I am surprised it lasted so long. Crazy.) But by whom was it torn down, you may ask? I'm not quite sure, but it does seems a bit odd to me that I noticed this new yarn bomb in Old City, of nearly the same magnitude and style, the same weekend I noticed that the Rittenhouse one was gone.

This leads me to believe that either both were done by the same person, or that there are rival yarn bomb gangs that tear each other's work down to only throw their own work up. That said, I have a hard time believing in rival yarn bomb gangs, so I think it was probably all done by the same person, or group of people. But if you're one of these yarn bombers and know differently, leave us a comment!
