The amazing house you’re about to see was--in the words of the home's owner, Percy Bright-- a "complete crap hole," when he first closed on it back in 2009. Bright, who along with his girlfriend Tara owns a home design company and popular online vintage operation Jersey Ice Cream Co., turned the space into a brilliant menagerie of vintage house wares.
The effort took many months, even years of work on the home and left "literally no surface in the entire house untouched," according to Bright. Percy is also skilled in plasterwork and creates art walls for many residential and retail clients. A man of many trades, it’s not surprising he could turn this South Philly home into such an inspired retreat. But don't just take my word for it, check it out for yourself:
