In honor of our city's treasured Philadelphia Folk Festival, Yards Brewing Company will be releasing a brand new beer to commemorate the festival’s 50th Anniversary! It shall be called Yards Folk Fest Lager, which is a “a Märzen-style fest beer that is light in color with a noble hop aroma.” You’ll be able to snag a taste during the PFF (Aug. 19th – 21st) at the event’s Yards Brewing Co. Beer Garden and any of the Folksong Society special events that will be held in Yards’ Tasting Room.
This year’s festival will feature performances from Hoots & Hellmouth, Tom Paxton, Arlo Guthrie, Dennis Hangey and many more.
