We've teamed up with our friends at Tortoise & Blonde to give two of our lucky readers each a pair of T&B shades!  Already gushing about how much we love what T&B is about, we're excited to share them with you. Winners will recieve a pair of 'Kenmare' sunglasses in either tortoise (shown below), or black.

To enter the contest: Leave a comment below with your New Years resolution for 2012. Impress us, wow us, and stand out - the best New Years resolutions will win the sunglasses! Good luck!

I'm soon starting my last semester for my degree in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Because I am still a student I work in a clinic. Most of my patients are mostly people who have NOT been able to have the funds to maintain their teeth. These people are usually in pain or self-concious esthetically. It's been a long, stressful road with the program but now that it's coming to an end my resolution is to continue and try even harder to improve my bed-side manner and to go the extra mile for each and every one of them with a big smile on my face no matter how moody or monotone my personality may feel or come off to people on some days.

My New Year's resolution is to stop wasting so much time on the computer and spend more time reading the Bible and reflecting on its words, and try not to vex others with my attitude and erratic temperament. Smile everyday and spread the happiness!

pretty simple resolution for me: make no apologies. if there's something i don't want to do, or don't feel is right, i don't have to. this year, i want to spend my time with people i like, doing things i love.

    also, eat more veggies. :]

My new years resolution is to spend all year stuttin in those Kenamare's. Haha, just kidding. My new years resolution is to find more time to spend with my family. I've been balancing graduate school and two jobs for nearly past two years and don't get to see my family as often as I'd like to.

My New Year's resolution is to think up something really awesome to do before the year is out. A bucket list item. Something I couldn't imagine myself doing last year, and something that will make me say "remember when I ... " once I am old in my porch rocker. It won't be skydiving. It will probably involve a cool pair of glasses.

I always felt your birthday would make more sense as a day to reflect and make changes based off of the past year's faults seeing as NYE is really just an excuse to get drunk and be with friends/family. However, my new years resolution is to start actually putting effort into things i've been talking about for a long time, whether it be starting a band or just recording, me and a friend have been talking about trying to build our own greenhouse for years now (weird?), and maybe getting to sleep at a decent hour and therefore not wake up at 2pm.

I graduated college in may of 2011. I started working a 9-5 that i absolutely hate. in my spare time, i have begun designing and building furniture. my new years resolution is to spend enough time designing, building, and selling my own furniture that i can quit my job.
