West Chester's The Note has had some interesting events in its past but right now Bam Margera's bar is completely killing it with the acts they're booking.

Besides semi-nostalgia like Bowling For Soup (who the hell is nostalgic for them?) and the great Misstallica, this spring sees some fantastic shows. On the 16th and 17th of March, it's a 1-2 punch of awesome. First up is the still-reunited (by fate [I hope SOMEONE gets that]) Rival Schools and second is the band that The Note was basically built for, CKY.

Philly-based reggae buzz band Akilles is on the bill this Saturday night with Rufus J Fisk, and Soul Cannon.

Later in the month, The Donnas and Jaguar Love both drop in albeit on seperate days.

Some great shows are booked for April as well, one of which being Jedi Mind Tricks. Start Making Sense-- Talking Heads tribute headlines a show on April 16th and Municipal Waste does 5 days later.

Throw in some local/random bands, some good food and great drink specials (and a variety of interesting beers on tap) and you've got yourself a pretty great venue/bar. Check it out, get in the car and go see some shows.
