While the routing for Green Day's summer tour was revealed a little over a week ago, we now know where exactly they will be playing: The Wachovia Spectrum.
The July 21st show still has no on-sale date, openers or ticket prices but now the show is confirmed to be at the Spectrum by Green Day's website. ComcastTix.com still has nothing listed for that day.
The ensuing tour will be Green Day's first major U.S. tour since 2005, their first headlining stadium jaunt. That tour was documented in the concert film "Bullet In A Bible." Since then the band has been hard at work with Butch Vig on their new album, 21st Century Breakdown, and with their alter-egos the Foxboro Hot Tubs
21st Century Breakdown will be released mid-May but the first single, "Know Your Enemy," has been released to radio outlets and iTunes already.
When more details are available, we'll have them here on Phrequency.com
